Under acoustic geometry
To the rhythm of the lamellas
In an office where space is as important as functionality, state-of-the-art acoustic solutions by Fovere have been used. These solutions not only manage sound effectively, but also bring aesthetic order thanks to their unique geometry. Characteristic of this space are the two-coloured felt installations made up of vertical fins, which catch the eye with their regular rhythm and colourful juxtaposition.
Stripes dominate the walls of the office, creating an effect of visual regularity and order. The rhythms of these stripes are accentuated both by the lamella pattern of the felt and by contrasting colours, such as light and dark stripes. Each room, although varying in colour combination, is maintained in the same repetitive aesthetic, offering elegant colour combinations such as grey with navy blue or beige with sand. In some spaces, solid walls have been opted for, but even these are decorated with a lamella pattern. The large felt-covered wall planes not only provide a high level of acoustic protection, but also increase the comfort of the rooms.
Classic herringbone
The second solution used in this office is walls made of uniform felt with a V-Cut pattern, forming a large chevron, also known as herringbone. This is a classic and aesthetically timeless pattern that definitely dominates the walls. The strong herringbone pattern is further emphasised by the use of light grey. In the cream version, the herringbone rhythm looks slightly softer, introducing a subtle but equally effective visual impression.
Use of acoustic materials
The acoustic materials used are all Fovere brand products. These lightweight polyester panels, made from 100% PET, are recommended for projects in the commercial, hospitality, education and institutional sectors. They offer an effective and economical noise reduction option with NRC levels between 0.45 and 0.95. The 3000 x 1200 mm panels are available in a wide range of colours, finishes and thicknesses, from 5 to 24 mm. They are easy to install, as they can be installed using slings or glued with contact/assembly adhesive.
The introduction of acoustic geometry into this office has not only improved the acoustic quality, but has also added a new aesthetic dimension to the space, confirming that functionality can go hand in hand with exceptional design.
